That’s why each laboratory we use to process samples is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). This means they must continually meet stringent internal and external quality control protocols.

Furthermore, our expert team carefully vets and maintains a close ongoing relationship with each lab partner in our network, so you can be sure of the highest testing standards.

Our sample collection kits are UKCA and CE-marked, meaning they meet health and safety requirements within the European Economic Area (EEA), and are accredited as medical devices under ISO 13485. We cover specimen types across venous blood, capillary blood (finger prick and upper arm devices), saliva, urine, stool, nasal swabs, vaginal swabs and many more.

Hurdle was founded by leading scientists from Cambridge and Oxford universities, who spent their academic careers focusing on preventative healthcare, epigenetics of ageing, computational biology and novel omics technologies. They combine their expertise with experienced medical doctors and operations specialists to oversee each stage of the diagnostic testing process, including which biomarkers to test and the best scientific methods for each.
