Hurdle attains certification for DCB0160: Clinical Risk Management: its Application in the Deployment and Use of Health IT Systems
For Hurdle to be certified to be DCB0160 demonstrates that our Digital Health platform has been formally assessed and confirmed to meet the UK NHS Digital standard DCB0160. Our ongoing obligation to our clients is to ensure that risk management processes have been followed during the deployment and use of clinical software systems in a healthcare setting. DCB0160 specifically governs how we as a healthcare providers manage clinical risks when deploying our product. DCB0160, as an ongoing dynamic function will govern how to apply clinical risk management to our Digital Health platform that positively impact patient care.
DCB0160 accreditation ensures the following:
- A safe and appropriate deployment of the Digital Health platform
- Any clinical risk is assessed, documented, and mitigated
- Ensuring ongoing monitoring and governance of digital systems
This accreditation in conjunction with the previously certification to DCB0129 certification for Clinical Risk Management. Its Application in the Manufacture of Health IT Systems is further evidence of the Hurdle’s commitment to a real time risk identification and mitigation, hence offering a sound assurance to current customers and potential clients seeking that end to end application of risk management methodology to their product journey.
Adding this to Hurdle’s ISO27001, SOC2, ISO13485 and compliance to global regulation, this is a further example of just how Hurdle continues to lead the way in compliance within the diagnostic and digital healthcare space.
